Julie will take you on a journey to date as the founder and managing director of Community Access Care
Julie will speak about several key topics relevant to her journey to-date as the founder and Managing Director of Community Access Care.
The topics include how she began as a start-up business with minimal business experience to how. How she has had to transform into a businesswoman with Community Access Care operating in both Bundaberg and Toowoomba and servicing regional areas close to both cities. Additionally, since starting CAC he has purchased a Support Coordination business, Heart2Heart Support Coordination, which services Bundaberg and Toowoomba and created another start-up business in Bundaberg for Allied Health called Community Allied Health.
Other topic areas include showcasing the CAC Community Car Wash which has been operating from the Hub in Ruthven Street for 2 years. The CAC Car Wash has supported-employment opportunities for people living with disabilities where they are paid an award wage to work whilst learning valuable skills such as WH&S and the safe use of chemical, relevant job training, job-ready skills, interpersonal skills and confidence.
Additionally Julie will showcase other aspects of how Community Access Care helps support others in the community through social functions, charity events, business networking and cross-promotion.
