Join us at The Moncrieff Theatre for our first event for 2021. We will do a little networking, enjoy a yummy breakfast (with all tastes catered for), catch up with the latest BBWN news, and enjoy a chat and a tour with our host for the morning, Front of House Manager, Trevor Green.
Over breakfast Trevor will share stories of his journey from Bundaberg and around the world, update us on what’s been happening over the past 12 months at the Moncrieff and what plans are in store at the Entertainment Centre and Brag for 2021.
These days you will find Trevor greeting patrons coming to see shows at the Moncrieff Entertainment Centre but there was a time when he was better known for being on the stage.
During his dance and musical theatre career Trevor performed all over the world, but his start in the industry came when he was just a teenage dancer from Bundaberg.
Trevor performed with the Queensland Ballet Company and Sydney Dance Company, followed by a long career in musical theatre, a natural transition as he enjoyed singing and had always been told he had the voice for it.
After his illustrious career a sea change bought Trevor home to Bundaberg. “I was away for 40 years and came back for a family reunion. When we spent some time in Bargara it was like ‘hmm, I could do this’.” Despite plans to retire Trevor found the perfect position as front of house manager at the Moncrieff. “Which is fantastic, I love it. I’m just utilising the experience that I have in the theatre to bring a little bit of theatricality to the theatre and people are loving it I hope.”
